Tencent Cloud recently provided all Ruichi-type CVM instances with a free 50GB object storage quota, which is perfect for backing up websites and databases.
Object storage can be mounted to a server as a hard drive. In addition to one-click mounting via the Tencent Cloud Automation Assistant in the console, we can also easily complete the mounting using the S3fs Manager in the Haozi Panel.
First, we need to create a storage bucket in the same region as the target mounting server in the console (intranet transmission is available for same-region resources) and note down the storage bucket name.
Go to Tencent Cloud Access Management to create keys for accessing the storage bucket. You can optionally use a sub-account, and note down the returned SecretId and SecretKey.
Install the S3fs Manager application on the panel and launch it.
Click the Add Mount button in the upper right corner and fill in the mounting information.
Fill Bucket with the storage bucket name created earlier, AK with SecretId, SK with SecretKey. The region node correspondence can be found in the documentation:
Finally click Submit, the mounting is complete and ready for direct use.
