Note: Due to issues with the initial build, WordPress 6.5.1 was not released. 6.5.2 is the first maintenance release for WordPress 6.5.
This security and maintenance release includes 2 core bug fixes, 12 block editor bug fixes, and 1 security fix.
As this is a security update, we recommend updating your site immediately. Backport support is also available for other major WordPress versions (6.1 and higher).
You can download WordPress 6.5.2 from WordPress.org WordPress 6.5.2, or visit your WordPress dashboard, click "Updates", then click "Update Now". If your site supports automatic background updates, the update process will start automatically.
WordPress 6.5.2 is a short-cycle release. The next major release will be version 6.6, currently scheduled for release on July 16, 2024.
